What is a VJ? A VJ (Visual or Video Jockey) is a person who mixes still and motion graphics (photographs, illustrations, video footage, animation, etc) in real time, usually for the purpose of projecting the mixed visuals onto a large screen at some kind of event. There are many events that these days require VJs, including corporate presentations, exhibitions and conferences, and in particular, nightclub events. In the last few years, there has been explosive growth worldwide of demand for VJs, and for the tools that they use. Nowhere is VJing more popular than in Japan, where the majority of nightclub events now feature a VJ. And no-one in Japan knows VJing like the team behind Pixelcraft Ltd. They are professional VJs who play at many of the country's largest nightclub events and also produce computer graphics animation for TV. |
